Las Vegas tourism agency launches new brand campaign
The Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas campaign will span broadcast TV, activations and partnerships.
US.- The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) has announced that it is launching an ad and social media campaign under the tagline “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas“. It will feature broadcast TV, activations, experiences, special offers and partnerships.
The campaign will launch with a 60-second spot during the Dallas vs. Philadelphia football game today (September 4) and. Marquees and digital billboards will feature the “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” message. It will be visible at properties in the Strip, Viva Vision at Fremont Street Experience and various off-Strip locations.
Times Square will debut a 3D anamorphic billboard showcasing Las Vegas imagery creating the illusion of breaking through the screen.

Las Vegas was built on hospitality, and this campaign is our renewed promise that as our city grows, our foundation remains unchanged: we are committed to providing fabulous experiences for every visitor, at every price point.”
Michon Martin, CEO of R&R Partners, the LVCVA’s agency of record, added: “Just as we did over two decades ago with the ‘What Happens Here, Stays Here’ campaign, we’ve learned from extensive research and most importantly, we’ve listened to the wants and needs of our visitors. At a time when all of us need a break, ‘Welcome to Fabulous’ is a reminder of how Las Vegas makes you feel, no matter how you choose to experience it. As we enter our next era, our legendary sign is the world’s greatest invitation to escape and come find your own personal fabulous.”

Nevada casinos report revenue increases in July
The Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) gaming report for July shows the state’s casinos generated $1.36bn in revenue, up 3.99 per cent year-over-year. Clark County, which includes the Strip, downtown Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, the Boulder Strip and surrounding areas, registered $1.15bn, up 3.24 per cent. The Las Vegas Strip generated $749m, up 5.6 per cent year-over-year.
Washoe County, which includes casinos in Reno, Sparks and North Lake Tahoe, generated $102m, up 7.4 per cent year-over-year. South Lake Tahoe reported $37.6m, up 21.5 per cent, and Elko County $32.4m, down 0.8 per cent.
