Nevada casinos report revenue increases in July
Revenue was up 3.99 per cent year-over-year.
US.- The Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) has released its gaming report for July. The state’s casinos generated $1.36bn, up 3.99 per cent year-over-year.
Clark County, which includes the Strip, downtown Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, the Boulder Strip and surrounding areas, registered $1.15bn, up 3.24 per cent. The Las Vegas Strip generated $749m, up 5.6 per cent year-over-year.
Washoe County, which includes casinos in Reno, Sparks and North Lake Tahoe, generated $102m, up 7.4 per cent year-over-year. South Lake Tahoe reported $37.6m, up 21.5 per cent, and Elko County $32.4m, down 0.8 per cent.
According to NGCB, the state collected $95.5m in percentage fees, down 0.38 per cent year-over-year.
