Nevada gaming revenue decreases year-over-year in September
Revenue was $1.28bn, down 2.26 per cent year-over-year and up 4 per cent from August 2025.
US.- The Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) has reported that the state’s casinos generated $1.28bn in revenue in September. That’s down 2.26 per cent year-over-year and up 4 per cent from August 2025.
Clark County, which includes the Strip, downtown Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, the Boulder Strip and surrounding areas, generated $1.09bn, down 2.9 per cent from the same month in 2024. The Las Vegas Strip generated $687.8m, down 5.5 per cent.
Washoe County, which includes casinos in Reno, Sparks and North Lake Tahoe, generated $100.5m, up 2.3 per cent, South Lake Tahoe $23.5m, up 9.9 per cent, Elko County $31.5m, down 7.3 per cent and the Carson Valley Area $11.4m, up 4.9 per cent.
The state collected $87m in percentage fees, a 12.35 per cent decrease year-over-year.
For the fiscal year, July 1, 2025 through September 30, 2025, gaming revenue increased 2.27 per cent.
In September, Las Vegas’ Harry Reid International Airport reported 4.45 million passengers. That’s a decline of 6.4 per cent from the same month in 2024, when the airport recorded 4.76 million passengers. Domestic travel for the month fell 6.1 per cent year-over-year and international travel 13.5 per cent.
