Las Vegas airport passenger numbers decline in September

Some 4.45 million people passed through Harry Reid International Airport, a decrease of 6.4 per cent year-over-year.

US.- Las Vegas’ Harry Reid International Airport has reported 4.45 million passengers in September. That’s a decline of 6.4 per cent from the same month in 2024, when the airport recorded 4.76 million passengers. Domestic travel for the month fell 6.1 per cent year-over-year and international travel 13.5 per cent.

Among the top five domestic carriers, Spirit passengers decreased 45.8 per cent year-over-year, while Southwest passengers increased 5.5 per cent and United 5.4 per cent. American Airlines was down 5.3 per cent and Delta 2.1 per cent.

For the year-to-date, traffic totalled 41.5 million, down 4.7 per cent. Domestic travel decreased 5 per cent and international travel 3.3 per cent.

The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) reported that 3.17 million people visited Las Vegas in August, down 6.7 per cent year-over-year. Visits in the first eight months of 2025 were down 7.8 per cent.
