Nevada assembly approves bill on illegal gambling
The Nevada Legislature recently approved Senate Bill 256 (SB 256), which aims to strengthen the state’s power to fight illegal gambling. The legislation passed with a 42-0 vote and will now return to the Senate for approval as amended in the legislature.
Given that the only change the legislature proposed was to add assemblywoman Brittney Miller as a co-sponsor, the bill is expected to pass quickly to governor Joe Lombardo to become law.
