Mississippi casino revenue increases year-over-year in April
Casinos revenue totalled $195.5m, up 1.8 per cent from April 2024.
US.- The Mississippi Gaming Commission (MGC) has reported that casinos in the state generated $195.5m in revenue in April. That’s up 1.8 per cent from April 2024 but down 13.6 per cent from March’s $226.6m.
The regulator breaks revenue down across three regions: Central, Coastal, and Northern. Coastal casinos registered the highest revenue at $127.74m, up 2.9 per cent from the same period in 2024. Casino revenue in the central region was $27.02m, up 3.2 per cent year-over-year, and Northern casinos reported $40.81m, down 2.1 per cent.
In terms of sports betting, the state’s handle totalled $24.9m in April, down 27.5 per cent from April 2024. Taxable revenue totalled $3.7m.
