Nevada casino revenue tops $1bn for eighth month
The Nevada Gaming Control Board has reported casino revenue of just over $1.2bn for October.
US.- The Nevada Gaming Control Board has released figures for October showng that casino revenue reached just over $1.2bn. That makes October was the eighth month in a row that Nevada passed the billion-dollar mark.
The total gaming win was up 20 per cent from October 2019 and up 5.6 per cent from September’s win of $1.16b. The sports betting handle set a state record of $1.1bn, up 39.9 per cent from September’s $786.5m and 66.8 year-on-year from October 2020’s $659.9m. Football betting accounted for $729.3m of the handle, baseball $121.7m, and basketball $110.9m.
The mobile sports betting handle was $703.8m, again a record for the state. That was up by 42.1 per cent from September ($495.3m) and 86.7 per cent from October 2020 ($376.8m). Mobile accounted for 63.9 per cent of the sports betting handle.
