Missouri operators start online sports betting account registrations

Players can sign up ahead of the launch of regulated online sports betting in Missouri.

US.- Operators have today begun accepting registrations ahead of the launch of regulated online sports betting on December 1. Users can now create accounts, make deposits and access pre-registration promotions after the Missouri Gaming Commission (MGC) granted temporary retail and mobile sports betting licences last month.

Only Circa and DraftKings have untethered licences allowing them to offer mobile sports betting without partnering with a land-based casino or professional sports team. BetMGM, bet365, Caesars, ESPN BET, FanDuel, Fanatics, and Underdog secured licences after entering into partnerships.

Missouri voters approved sports betting through Amendment 2 in November 2024, passing the measure by a margin of just 50.1 per cent. Revenue generated from sports wagering will be taxed at a rate of 10 per cent with the potential allowance of deductions for promotional offers and federal taxes.
