Mississippi sports betting handle decreases year-over-year in November

The handle totalled $51.8m, down 3.4 per cent compared to the same month in 2024.

US.- The Mississippi Gaming Commission (MGC) has released its sports wagering report for November. The handle totalled $51.8m, down 3.4 per cent compared to the same month in 2024.

The Coastal region saw a $37.3m handle, the Central region $9.5m and the Northern region $5m. Taxable revenue totalled $9.9m.

The Coastal region’s taxable revenue was $7m. Football generated a $23.3m handle and $4.4m in taxable revenue and basketball $3.8m and $318,819. The Central region generated $1.9m in taxable revenue, $1.5m from parlay cards, $215,332 from football and $145,668 from basketball.

In the Northern region, taxable revenue was $879,305. Sports Parlay Cards generated $2m in bets and $576,678 in taxable revenue, and football $1.96 and $151,893, and Basketball $770,932 and $146,212.

Last month, Sam’s Town Hotel and Gaming Hall in Tunica closed its doors after more than 30 years. The casino, which opened in 1994.
