US.- Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City has named Donna Ward to the role of vice president of sales to oversee the resort’s hotel sales operations, including meetings and conventions.

Ward has spent more than 35 years in sales roles throughout Atlantic City, including with Harrah’s. Most recently, she was VP of sales, catering, and convention services at Golden Nugget.

Joe Lupo, property president, said in a statement: “Hard Rock Atlantic City is thrilled to welcome Donna to our team. Her commitment to bringing the best meetings and conventions to Hard Rock will not only be invaluable to our property but will also elevate the Atlantic City market as a whole.”

In May, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City announced a $20m investment into its facilities, adding more table games, slot machines, a new restaurant, and a Starbucks outlet. It will also renovate suites.

Additional game units will be created in the Asia and High Limit areas as a response to the demand seen over seven continuous months of game revenue growth.
