Galaxy Gaming appoints Meredith Brill to board of directors
The Canadian intellectual property lawyer and patent agent replaces William Zender, who resigned on July 1
US.- The gambling content developer and supplier Galaxy Gaming has announced that Meredith Brill has been appointed to its board of directors. Brill replaces William Zender, who resigned on July 1. She will serve until the next election of directors.
Brill is a Canadian intellectual property lawyer and patent agent. She worked with Bereskin & Parr LLP from 1998 to 2008. After that, she became a private investor. She has been a shareholder of Galaxy for some time.
Mark Lipparelli, chairman of Galaxy’s board of directors, said: “Meredith is a valuable addition to the Galaxy Board. Her experience in intellectual property matters is directly relevant to Galaxy’s business model and, as a long-time shareholder, she is very familiar with the company’s opportunities and challenges. We look forward to her contributions.”
Brill commented: “I have been a shareholder of Galaxy for several years, so I am an admirer of its business model and success to date. I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to get involved in the company’s strategy and operations and to bring my experience in IP-related matters to bear on its future activities.”
Galaxy Gaming has named Steph Nel as senior vice president of worldwide sales. He will lead the company’s sales team and focus on its expansion.
The supplier has launched Galaxy Gaming Digital, a division focused on online growth and development. The division includes its proprietary portfolio of table content.
Galaxy’s own ready-to-play igaming RNG titles, Galaxy Built games, will be launched later in 2022. The first collection of these games includes Split to Double Blackjack, Roulette Up, and Rising Phoenix Baccarat, which are all available in land-based casinos.
