The esports betting provider and the casino will host the first sanctioned esports skill-based wagering event in the US.

US.- The esports betting provider Esports Entertainment has announced a partnership with Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City, in New Jersey, to host LANDuel, the first sanctioned esports skill-based wagering event in the US. The two-day 256-player in-person tournament will be held on January 22 and 23.

The tournament is the first skill-based gaming event approved by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement. Participants will be permitted to wager on themselves in each round of the event. More esports betting events and permanent installations will follow in the future.
