Colorado sports betting revenue increases 80 per cent year-over-year in February

US.- Colorado’s sports betting gross gaming revenue (GGR) totalled $46.4m in February, up 80 per cent year-over-year but down 23.9 per cent from January 2025. Online bets brought in $46.2m retail betting $152,547.

According to the Colorado Department of Revenue, the handle was $496.6m, down 7.5 per cent year-over-year and 24.4 per cent from January 2025. Of the total handle, $493.6m was wagered online and $2.99m via retail.

Basketball led the market with $163.99m in online bets and $1.1m in retail bets. Taxes collected in February reached $3.4m, up 163.54 per cent year-over-year but down 22.7 per cent from January 2025.

Director of gaming Christopher Schroder said: “After a record-setting January for sports betting, February continues to show growth with over $24.5m collected in Fiscal Year To Date Taxes. A strong, safe, and fair sports betting industry is good for Colorado and its bettors. The funds they raise each month are helping Colorado fund water conservation efforts.”
