Canada.- A new Casinomeister site for the Ontario market lists all operators compliant with regulations set out by Ontario’s Alcohol and Gaming Commission (AGCO). Casinomeister.ca is an extension of the existing casino forum brand.

Casinomeister offers players a list of online casinos that have received licences in the Canadian province. Only operators with licenses issued by the AGCO are able to operate in Ontario, which launched its regulated market on April 4.

Bragg Gaming Group has recently expanded its partnership with Rush Street Interactive (RSI) to launch its content in Ontario’s regulated igaming market. The launch represents the first North American dual deployment of Bragg’s Remote Games Server (RGS) from both its Oryx Gaming and Spin Games divisions via a single integration.

Meanwhile, Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) has been awarded a supplier licence in Ontario. The company can now offer its B2B sportsbook and player account management (PAM) platforms to licensed operators in the Canadian province. Bally Bet also announced its entry into the market after the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) approved a two-year, expiring on 29 June 2024.

Flutter Entertainment’s PokerStars launched in the Canadian province after gaining full registration to operate in the Canadian province from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) earlier in June. The registration covers PokerStars’ three verticals of poker, casino, and sport.

Ontario fines DraftKings CAD $100,000

The Registrar of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) has served Crown DK CAN Ltd – the parent company of which is DraftKings Inc – with an Order of Monetary Penalty totalling CAD $100,000. The penalty is for infractions of the registrar’s Standards for Internet Gaming regarding advertising and inducements.

Ontario strictly prohibits broad public advertising of bonuses and other gambling inducements. However, the regulator found that contrary to Standard 2.05, between May 19 and May 31 Crown DK CAN Ltd posted or aired multiple broad gambling inducements that included boosted 2:1 odds.
