US.- Caesars Entertainment has announced that its Caesars Sportsbook app is now available in Louisiana. Caesars is offering sports fans an early chance to download the Caesars Sportsbook app, register, deposit funds, and explore pre-match and live markets and odds, including for every local team. They can’t yet bet, since regulations are still a few weeks away.

Eric Hession, Co-President of Caesars Digital said: “Louisiana and the entire Gulf Coast region are a special part of the Caesars family. We couldn’t be more excited to build on our longstanding commitments in the state with the launch of legal sports betting.

“We know how passionate Bayou State sports fans are about their teams and we’re confident our brand-new Caesars Sportsbook app and the exciting offers we have for launch can offer them a sports experience that can’t be matched.”

Legal sports betting didn’t arrive in Louisiana in time for the start of the NFL season, but the Paragon Casino in Marksville started accepting wagers on October 6.

Last week, the Louisiana Gaming Control Board approved the state’s second fantasy sports betting licence allowing Fanduel to launch operations in the 47 parishes where voters authorised gaming in the November 2018 election. Draftkings was the first company to be authorised to launch fantasy sports betting in the state.
