Caesars signs deal with Fiesta Bowl Organization in Arizona

The partnership is the first alliance between a college bowl game and a gambling company.

US.- Caesars Entertainment has partnered with Fiesta Bowl Organization, allowing the company to sponsor events that are associated with football games played in Arizona.

The multi-year partnership is the first alliance between a college bowl game and a gambling company.

Fiesta Bowl Chief Marketing Officer, Jose Moreno said: “Five years ago this was probably taboo or you didn’t even speak of it. But this is the evolution of sports as a whole and we’re excited for it.”

Caesars plans to open a sportsbook at Chase Field, home of the Arizona Diamondbacks. The partnership grants Caesars Entertainment mobile sports betting market access and exclusive sponsorship in sports betting and daily fantasy sports for the D-backs.

Arizona will allow legal sports betting just in time for the NFL season, which starts on September 9.
