Macau casino dealers to receive Covid-19 vaccine
The Macau government will start contacting gaming concessionaires this week to arrange vaccinations.
Macau.- Macau’s Health Bureau has announced today that casino dealers will start to receive vaccination against Covid-19.
So far, 15,000 residents of Macau have been vaccinated. The Macau Government has purchased 600,000 vaccine doses, which are being administered free of charge.
During the first phase, the Health Bureau contacted several departments, schools and social service agencies to conduct the vaccinations.
The second phase will start this week and the health authorities will contact gaming concessionaires to start the vaccination of gaming workers, the Macau Health Bureau said.
The actual date those vaccinations will start has not yet been announced.
A negative Covid-19 test result will no longer be needed to enter Macau’s casinos from midnight tomorrow (March 3).
