Jeju Dream Tower sees bookings rocket in year-end sale
Lotte Tour Development Co Ltd revealed it has sold more than 8,000 room nights as part of its year-end sale at Jeju Dream Tower.
South Korea.- Lotte Tour Development Co Ltd, the developer and operator of Jeju Dream Tower, has announced that it has sold more than 8,500 room packages in just 70 minutes as part of its year-end sale. The promotion, which will last until November 14, is expected to see sales volume exceed 10,000 room packages.
According to Asian Gaming Brief, the company said: “With the spread of Covid-19, group inquiries are rapidly increasing, and sales from rooms to food and beverages and casinos are increasing significantly.”
The Jeju Dream Tower casino opened its doors in June after passing a final inspection. It has 141 game tables offering five types of table games, 190 slot machines, and 71 electronic gaming machines. It also includes an ETG master table.
The company has recently announced it is ready to open a new tower on Jeju Island on November 29. The new complex will include 850 hotel rooms. The complete Grand Hyatt hotel with its two 38-floor towers covers a total floor area of 303,737 square metres.
Earlier this year, a Covid-19 outbreak on Jeju Island in South Korea caused a large number of holiday bookings to be cancelled and delayed travel bubble negotiations with neighbouring countries.
