Macau.- Casino operator MGM Resorts has been recognised both regionally and globally for its human resources and talent development efforts.
The company was honoured with seven HR awards from four renowned institutions: it received the global BEST Award from the Association of Talent Development (ATD), three awards from the Guangdong HR Management Association, two from China Training Magazine and one from Human Resources Director Asia.
Ms. Wendy Yu, Executive Vice President of Human Resources at MGM also received the “HR Pioneer” of South China HR Excellence Award.

During the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, MGM China has reported that it has enough liquidity to ride out the crisis.
A Sanford C. Bernstein Ltd report stated that MGM China has HKD3billion (€356million) in cash and a revolving credit facility from banks amounting to HKD4.5billion (€534million).
The numbers were described as “enough for six to 15 months of the shutdown” by analysts Vitaly Umansky, Eunice Lee and Kelsey Zhu.
