NLA staff showcase team spirit in customer service month sports event in Ghana
Employees from across Ghana come together for football, volleyball and other team building initiatives in a Customer Service Month celebration.
Ghana.- Staff of the Ghana National Lottery marked Customer Service Month 2025 with an engaging inter-zonal sports competition. The initiative, part of the Authority’s ongoing celebrations, aimed to foster teamwork, camaraderie and a spirit of friendly competition among employees.
Participants were grouped into zones based on the regions of their secondary schools, creating a unique platform for colleagues to reconnect with former classmates while enjoying spirited matches held on October 17. Activities included football, volleyball, basketball, table tennis and other recreational games like Draughts (Checkers) and darts, promoting both physical fitness and collaborative spirit within the workplace.
The event proved to be more than just a sporting occasion. It emphasised the importance of working together to deliver excellent customer service. The NLA said: “The games provided an opportunity for staff to reconnect and showcase their athletic talents while fostering unity across departments.”
Looking ahead, the Customer Service Month celebrations will continue with more interactive events. Staff will have the opportunity to demonstrate their professional and culinary skills in upcoming activities designed to entertain and inspire. The NLA added: “These celebrations remind us that great customer service is built not just on professional skills, but also on teamwork and collaboration.”
