Moroccan gamers gain global edge with French training program
Créajeux Institute brings world-class video game education to young Moroccans with skills to compete on the international gaming stage.
Morocco.- Morocco is making waves in the global gaming scene as young talent gained unprecedented access to world-class gaming education, with the French Créajeux Institute bringing its expertise straight to the city of Rabat.
Organised in partnership with the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication and the French Institute in Morocco at the Yaacoub El Mansour Youth Centre, the program gave aspiring game developers a unique opportunity to learn from one of France’s top gaming schools without leaving the country.
Organisers said: “The city of Rabat has witnessed a week of formation in the field of electronic games industry at Dar Al-Shabab Yaqoub Mansour, framed by the Créajeux Institute, one of the most prominent formation institutes in the field of Gaming in France.”

From September 1 to 7, participants immersed themselves in hands-on workshops covering game design, programming and emerging industry trends. Beyond technical skills, the program sparked creativity, innovation and entrepreneurial thinking, equipping attendees to leave a lasting mark on Morocco’s fast-growing gaming sector.
This initiative is part of Morocco’s broader push to develop its gaming industry. The Video Game Creator program, launched earlier in 2025, offers a ten-month certification combining technical and creative training.
Morocco is also investing in infrastructure, including the upcoming $26m Rabat Gaming City, which will feature training facilities, co-working spaces and full-scale production studios to support the sector.
By welcoming international experts to Morocco, the program shows how the country is supporting local gaming talent. With initiatives like this, Morocco’s gaming scene is ready to make its mark on the world.
