Horse racing lands on all GR8 platforms in South Africa, enhancing player experiences across its iGaming ecosystem.
South Africa.- GR8 Tech Solutions has launched horse racing on all its platforms in South Africa, marking a major milestone in its latest round of iGaming platform upgrades.
Now available on the web, Android, and iOS, this rollout is the first stage of a broader push to bring dynamic horse racing experiences to bettors. For now, only pre-match betting is available, but a post-race summary, live event streaming and odds on favourites are already built in.
With features like “To Win,” “Place 1 – 4,” and “Finish Exactly 3rd,” it covers the UK, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and G1-G3 races from countries including the U.S, Brazil and France. And this is just the start, future updates promise form stats, Forecasts, Tricasts and even virtual racing.
GR8, which supports over 50 live operator brands worldwide, is known for setting the bar in B2B iGaming with high-performance, innovative solutions.
Other new features rolled out
In its latest newsletter, it said the new updates go well beyond racing. It has also introduced powerful tools across sportsbook, casino, CRM and back-office management to streamline operations and boost profitability.
Among the standout features is the debut of Flashscore-style match trackers. Built directly into the platform, these trackers offer real-time and pre-match analytics across six sports, from football and basketball to handball and volleyball. Think possession stats, live lineups, pitch animations and tournament tables – all without players needing to leave the betting site. The result? Faster live betting decision and increased user retention.
The FreeBet functionality also got a serious upgrade. Operators can now issue percentage-based FreeBets tied to player history, with new rules for rounding and max-value caps. Whether it’s tied to deposits, bet collections, or combo promos, this feature offers more flexibility and promotional precision.
Casino operators also now have finer control with the ability to block specific players like VIPs from tournaments. On the Player Account Management (PAM) side, new restrictions prevent users from betting or withdrawing until they’ve made their first deposit, helping reduce fraud and boost conversion rates.
With a clear focus on innovation, efficiency and user engagement, the GR8 updates continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible in iGaming.
