Côte d’Ivoire’s LONACI gears up for TCE 2025 Super Draw
LONACI prepares players for the TCE Super Draw while channeling FCFA125m into social and entrepreneurial development across the region.
Côte d’Ivoire.- The National Lottery of Côte d’Ivoire (LONACI) is gearing up for its highly anticipated Super Grand Draw, scheduled for November 28 in the Togolese Republic. The event is part of the Tranche Commune Entente (TCE) 2025, a cross-border lottery involving national lotteries from Côte d’Ivoire, Togolese Republic, Benin, Niger and Burkina Faso.
In October, LONACI ran national promotional draws in Côte d’Ivoire to select eligible participants for the regional event, requiring players to validate their tickets and submit a valid phone number.
Check Diarra, Director of Marketing and Customer Experience at LONACI, highlighted the jackpot’s growth and social impact. “Since last year, the TCE jackpot has gone from FCFA10m to FCFA20m, and the social-project contribution has also been increased,” he said according Abidjan.net.
Maïmouna Traoré, Product Manager for Loto Bonheur, LONACI’s flagship lottery game, said top qualifiers will be rewarded at the Super Draw, where prizes range from FCFA2m (€3,000) to FCFA20m (€30,000). “The first four of each draw will benefit from a fully paid airplane trip by LONACI to Lomé in Togo to take part in the Super Draw and try to win a prize ranging from FCFA2m to FCFA20m.”
Empowering communities, creating opportunities
In addition to its prizes, TCE 2025 will allocate a total of FCFA125m (€187,500) to social and development projects. Each of the five national lotteries will contribute FCFA25m (€37,500) to fund a medical and social centre at the University of Kara in Togo.
Part of the funds will also support entrepreneurship initiatives, including ten youth-led projects receiving FCFA2m (€3,000) each and twenty women-led income-generating projects receiving FCFA1m (€1,500) each.
According to Togolese National Lottery’s (LONATO) Kokouvi Amédomé, TCE 2025 is structured around three pillars: rewarding bettors, building the medical and social infrastructure at Kara University and promoting youth and women entrepreneurship.
The TCE combines entertainment, prize distribution and social action, making it not only a lottery but also a flagship moment for regional cooperation and social investment in West Africa.
