Burkina Faso’s National Lottery expands Faso Loto 5/90 to daily draws

Faso Loto 5/90 has moved from three weekly draws to seven, giving players in Burkina Faso access to the game every day.

Burkina Faso.- Burkina Faso’s National Lottery (LONAB) increased the frequency of its Faso Loto 5/90 game, adding four draw days each week when the lottery moved to a daily schedule on September 1.

The change took Faso Loto 5/90 from three draws a week to seven. Before September 1, the game was drawn on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, according to LONAB’s published 2026 records. It is now drawn every day from Monday to Sunday. A LONAB notice announcing the change said: “Faso Loto 5/90 is now available every day, from Monday to Sunday.”

The daily schedule uses different draw names across the week. LONAB’s September results list Nékré on Mondays, Cadeau on Tuesdays, Kounandia on Wednesdays, Etoile bonheur on Thursdays, Welhy on Fridays, Magic on Saturdays and Barka on Sundays.

The expanded schedule was also reflected in local media coverage. Wakat Séra published Faso Loto results for the September 9, 10 and 11 draws, while leFaso.net published results for the September 6, 7, 8 and 9 draws.

The expansion came shortly after LONAB had recorded a 9 per cent year-on-year progression in sales, based on figures presented by interim director-general Aymar Tiendrebeogo. The operator had also achieved 102 per cent of its first-half 2026 target, with management highlighting continued commercial momentum across its network.
