Africa and Middle East power Betway parent to $556.9m Q3 revenue
Super Group’s latest results reveal Africa and Middle East continue to outpace North America, highlighting the region’s growing influence on Betway’s international betting operations.
Kenya.- Africa’s fast-rising betting markets have helped Betway’s parent company, Super Group (SGHC) Limited, post a strong third-quarter performance, with the Africa and Middle East region further cementing its position ahead of North America in revenue.
According to the company’s Q3 2025 financial report, released on November 3, Super Group recorded revenue of $556.9m, up 26 per cent year-on-year from $442.9m in Q3 2024. The Africa and Middle East segment brought in $226m, representing around 40 per cent of total group revenue, compared with $181m (33 per cent) from North America.
Super Group CEO Neal Menashe highlighted the company’s record growth and strong momentum across key markets. “Super Group delivered another strong quarter with record-level customer engagement and continued growth across key markets. Our performance underscores the strength of our global footprint and our ability to grow profitably while investing for the future,” he said, according to Business Wire.

Africa powers Betway’s growth engine
This further cements Africa and Middle East’s position ahead of North America in the company’s global performance mix. In Q3 2024, the region had already contributed $165m (38 per cent) compared with $161m (36 per cent) from North America, highlighting a trend of sustained growth rather than a sudden shift. The data underscores the region’s accelerating momentum and growing importance to Betway’s business.
Betway, through Super Group, has an established presence across African markets including Kenya, Nigeria, Tanzania and Zambia, among others, where digital betting and mobile wagering continue to expand rapidly.
Super Group expects full-year 2025 revenue of $2.17bn to $2.27bn, driven by strong performance across both emerging and established markets.
The company’s latest results reinforce Africa’s status as one of the world’s fastest-growing betting frontiers, with increased customer engagement, mobile adoption and brand expansion driving record revenue for Betway.
