West Virginia sports betting revenue soars
West Virginia posted sports betting revenue of US$13.8 million in the first six months of the fiscal year, primarily thanks to the retail segment.

Retail sports betting is still the most popular sports betting vertical in the state, registering US$2.7 million in revenue and US$16.3 million in handle in October. Mobile betting reported US$1.8 million in revenue and US$12.7 million in sports betting handle.
The leading operator in October was Penn National Gaming’s Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races. The facility’s sportsbook totalled US$3.5 million in sports betting revenue in October after processing US$19.1 million in bets.
