Virginia sports betting handle rises in November

The handle increased 5 per cent year-over-year.

US.- The Virginia Lottery has released its report on sports wagering activity for November 2025. The handle was $798.9m, up 5 per cent year-over-year.

According to the report, adjusted gross revenue (AGR) totalled $95.3m. Of the total, mobile operators registered $95.1m, and retail $193,052.

Winnings totalled $699.6m, with a combined 12.42 per cent operators’ win percentage. Of the fourteen mobile operators and three casinos, ten reported net positive AGR, leading to $14.3m in tax payments for the month.

Casino revenue at Hard Rock Bristol, Rivers Casino Portsmouth, Caesars Virginia, and The Interim Gaming Hall Norfolk totalled $82.4m in November. That’s an increase of 29.5 per cent year-over-year and 0.3 per cent from October 2025.

Of the total casino revenue, slots generated $61.2m and table games $21.2m. Virginia collected $18.9m in taxes paid to the Gaming Proceeds Fund.
