Vermont sports betting handle increases year-over-year in June
The betting handle was up 40 per cent from June 2024.
US.- Vermont’s sports betting handle totalled $14m in June, up 40 per cent year-over-year but down 13.9 per cent from May. Adjusted gross wagering revenue was $1.4m and winnings totalled $12.5m.
According to Vermont’s Department for Liquor and Lottery, baseball led the market with $3.8m in bets, followed by tennis with $1.7m, basketball $1.4m, ebasketball $1.1m and soccer $1m.
Of the total handle, $10.6m was wagered in Vermont and $3.4m out of state. There were 13,233 active users: 7,943 in the state, and 5,290 out of state. The number of bets reached 506,853, with 417,730 in Vermont and 89,123 out-of-state.
Vermont’s online sports betting market opened in January 2024.
