Vermont sports betting handle increases in September
The state’s sports betting handle was up 19.8 per cent year-over-year.
US.- Vermont Liquor and Lottery has reported that the state’s sports betting handle totalled $20m in September, up 19.8 per cent year-over-year and 49.2 from August 2025. Adjusted gross wagering revenue was $1.4m, and winnings totalled $18.5m.
Football led the market with $6.9m in bets, up 0.3 per cent in year-on-year, followed by baseball with $2.5m in bets, up 13 per cent, tennis with $1.4m and soccer with $1.2m.
Of the total handle, $14.9m was bet in Vermont and $5.1m out of state. There were 13,159 active users in the state and 11,047 out of state. The number of bets reached 818,441, with 640,199 in Vermont and 178,242 out of state and an average spend per bet of $24.48.
