Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tejon hosts info sessions on jobs and vendor opportunities

The company has stated that the meetings aimed to share key information, and the job fairs will be available in the coming months.

US.- As Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tejon in Kern County, California, approaches its opening, the company has held community information sessions to provide details on upcoming job and vendor opportunities. The meetings were not job fairs but provided information about upcoming jobs and vendor opportunities.

Available positions will be published on the venue’s recruitment site starting in May. Job fairs and a table games dealer school will be held in the summer.

Chris Kelley, president of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tejon, said: “We’re excited to bring Hard Rock’s world-class hospitality and entertainment to Kern County, and our success starts with the incredible talent we recruit. These sessions are an important step in sharing our vision with the community, highlighting the career and business opportunities that will become available in the coming months. Hard Rock is dedicated to keeping our promises by hiring locally and building a team that embodies our culture of service, passion, and authenticity.”

The 700,000-square-foot resort is scheduled to open this year. The venue will have 150,000 square feet of gaming space featuring 3,000 slots, 48 table games, and video poker. A Hard Rock Cafe, fine dining restaurant Council Oak Steaks and Seafood and a Rock Shop were included in phase one. The second phase of construction includes 400 hotel rooms, dining options, the pool and spa, cigar lounge, and a 2800-seat Hard Rock Live event venue. Once both phases are completed, the project is expected to create approximately 5,000 direct and indirect jobs.
