Graton Rancheria Resort & Casino holds topping-off ceremony for expansion
The casino expansion is part of a $1bn project.
US.- The Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria have celebrated a construction milestone for the 179,620-square-foot casino expansion at Graton Resort & Casino in Rohnert Park, California. Team members held a topping-off ceremony for the $1bn project to witness the raising of the final beam.
The gaming floor expansion will feature a new poker room, rooftop restaurant, sports bar and a high-limit room. The additional square footage will increase the amount of smokeless gaming available. Work on a new hotel tower to double accommodation will start in June. That will be followed by work on an amphitheater and expanded pool area. A solar-powered parking garage is already operational. An inauguration is expected in early 2026
Lana Rivera, president of Graton Resort & Casino, said: “Today we celebrate a significant milestone, the topping-off of our casino expansion. We’ve watched this structure rise from blueprints to reality. This expansion signifies not just growth but a new chapter in unlimited opportunities for Graton Resort & Casino.”
Greg Sarris, tribal chairman of the Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria, said Graton Resort & Casino is the second largest employer in Sonoma County. By adding over 600 new jobs, it will become the largest.
