Wynn Al Marjan Island unveils 15,000m² logistics hub, building momentum towards its 2027 opening

The new centre brings engineering, security, inventory and crisis-response functions under one roof as the resort’s back-of-house operations take shape ahead of its 2027 debut.

Wynn Al Marjan Island has unveiled a 15,000-square-metre logistics centre as the US$5.1bn development advances towards its planned 2027 opening in Ras Al Khaimah. The facility will serve as the operational backbone of the resort, bringing together a wide range of back-of-house functions under one roof to support operations once the property welcomes guests.

In a statement published on its official LinkedIn page on July 20, the company said the logistics centre will centralise inventory management, engineering workshops, security screening, uniform distribution and crisis response, allowing supplies, equipment and essential services to be coordinated across the property.

Wynn Al Marjan Island described the facility as “more than a warehouse”, saying it will play a critical role in the resort’s daily operations by bringing key functions together in one location.

The centre will also house a number of specialist workshops, including carpentry, metalwork, upholstery and finishing, where skilled craftspeople and technicians will maintain, restore and care for the resort’s bespoke features. The company said the workshops will help preserve the quality and craftsmanship associated with Wynn Resorts properties. The logistics centre adds to a growing list of operational infrastructure Wynn has unveiled ahead of the opening, including the Wynn Oasis staff housing development.

The latest milestone follows recent assessments by Texas Capital Securities that the project remains on track for its planned 2027 opening despite geopolitical tensions in the region.

Located on Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah, the US$5.1bn integrated resort will feature a luxury hotel, restaurants, entertainment attractions, retail outlets, meeting and convention facilities, a spa and the UAE’s first casino.
