Former Solaire leader joins Wynn Al Marjan Island executive team
Andrea Aguirre-Jugueta, previously vice president for strategic partnerships at Solaire Resort, becomes the latest former executive of the Manila property to join the UAE development.
Former Solaire Resort executive Andrea Aguirre-Jugueta has been appointed vice president, private access at Wynn Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah.
Aguirre-Jugueta announced the appointment in a LinkedIn post, saying she was “proud to begin a new chapter” in the role and that she saw the position as an opportunity to help shape the resort’s guest experience ahead of its planned opening.
She said: “I’ve always believed that the most meaningful work begins long before the doors open. Stepping into a project of this scale, at this stage, is both an honour and a responsibility.”
Before moving to the UAE, Aguirre-Jugueta spent close to 10 years with Solaire Resort, where she held several senior positions, including director and vice president of retail and, most recently, vice president for strategic partnerships.
Her appointment adds to a growing list of former Solaire executives who have moved to Wynn Al Marjan Island. They include executive vice president and head of gaming Cyrus Sherafat and former Solaire Resort North senior vice president of resort operations Gianpietro Iseppi.
In her new role, Aguirre-Jugueta will oversee Wynn Al Marjan Island’s Private Access offering. In her post, she described it as “the craft of earning trust”, built on discretion, judgement and an understanding of guests’ needs before they are expressed.
Available by invitation only, the programme offers high-value guests customised services and premium resort privileges, including personalised travel and itinerary planning through dedicated hosts and access to exclusive amenities. The concept is already available at Wynn’s Las Vegas properties, where it forms part of the company’s luxury guest experience.
