theScore has announced that its mobile sportsbook and casino app is available for download.

Canada.- Digital media and sports betting platform theScore has announced that theScore Bet, its mobile sportsbook and casino app, is available for download. It’s taking pre-registrations ahead of the launch of Ontario’s igaming market on April 4.

Users can pre-register by downloading theScore Bet app and creating an account. The app can be download anywhere in Canada, but users must be over 19 years old and physically located in Ontario to wager.

The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) registered TheScore Bet as an Internet gaming operator to operate in the province on behalf of iGaming Ontario. theScore Bet is also hosting a ”Home Opener” launch party to celebrate the opening of the Ontario market in Toronto on April 2, 3, and 4.

In December, theScore achieved Gaming Laboratories International GLI-33 certification for its full suite of sports betting and igaming offerings for Ontario.

The AGCO continues to approve igaming operators and suppliers. LeoVegas Group has been registered as an igaming operator and Play’n GO awarded a supplier licence that will see the company’s portfolio made available for players when the regulated market opens.

Rush Street Interactive has been granted an igaming licence for its online casino and sportsbook brand BetRivers. In the last weeks, Gaming Realms, Bragg Gaming Group, 888 Holdings and Kambi Group also received igaming licences in the province.
