Canada.- LeoVegas Group has been registered as an igaming operator in Ontario, Canada, by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO). It will offer casino, live casino, and betting in the Canadian province with its LeoVegas and Royal Panda brands.

The operator will need to enter into an operating deal with iGaming Ontario once it has completed the necessary onboarding steps. Ontario’s regulated market launches on April 4.

LeoVegas Group chief executive, Gustaf Hagman, said: “Over recent years, the LeoVegas brand has become the third most well-known casino brand in the Canadian market and Royal Panda has shown strong growth – a clear sign that the mobile gaming experience we offer is appreciated by North American customers.

“Our full focus now is to complete the process and we look forward to launch in a regulated environment. Given our track record and knowledge to operate in regulated markets we continue to have high expectations and ambitions for continued growth in the Ontario market”.

The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) continues to approve igaming operators and suppliers. This week, Play’n GO was awarded a supplier licence that will see the company’s portfolio made available for players when the regulated market opens.

Rush Street Interactive (RSI) has been granted an igaming licence for its online casino and sportsbook brand BetRivers. In the last weeks, Gaming Realms, Bragg Gaming Group and 888 Holdings also received igaming licences in the province.
