Tennessee sports betting handle tops $413m in July

The sportsbook handle increased by more than a third year-on-year.

US.- Tennessee’s sports betting handle reached $413.1m in July 2026. That’s a 38.6 per cent increase from July 2025 but down 9.4 per cent from June of this year.

Sportsbooks generated $37.9m in adjusted gross income, while state tax collections reached $7.6m, according to the Tennessee Sports Wagering Council. The hold was 9.19 per cent, almost the same as in July 2025.

The July figures extend Tennessee’s growth over the past two years. It was 51 per cent higher than the handle of $ 271.5m in July 2024. The market’s performance contrasts with the greater volatility seen in other states during the summer.
