Press release.- SOFTSWISS marked its presence at SBC Summit Lisbon with an industry award, the launch of its fifth iGaming Trends report, and a series of discussions on AI, regulation, digital maturity and the rise of prediction markets.

SOFTSWISS Game Aggregator – Aggregator of the Year

The SOFTSWISS Game Aggregator received recognition as Aggregator of the Year at the SBC Awards 2026 in Lisbon, awarded on the final evening of the summit.

The recognition comes as the Game Aggregator continues to support multi-market game distribution, connecting operators to more than 40,000 games from over 300 game studios through a single integration.

Five years of igaming trends

An important moment for SOFTSWISS was the launch of the 2027 iGaming Trends report, which marked the fifth edition of the annual research. This year’s report was written in partnership with WorldGaming (formerly Clarion) and, for the first time, included expertise from beyond the industry, including Amazon Web Services. The “Beyond iGaming” chapter compares igaming with other digital industries and examines how they approach technology, regulation, growth, and customer experience.

How is AI changing core business processes? What happens when compliance becomes part of product architecture? And how do companies scale when individual markets require their own product approach? These were among the key questions explored during the report’s official launch.

Alexandra Kavelich, Deputy CMO at SOFTSWISS, said: “The igaming market has grown from around €48 billion in 2019 to more than €307.3 billion in gross gaming revenue in 2026 and is projected to reach about €461.84 billion in gross gaming revenue by 2031. At the same time, annual growth is expected to moderate from around 30% to 9% – a clear sign that the industry is entering a new stage of maturity.”

Robin Harrison, Global Content Director B2B at WorldGaming (formerly Clarion), said: “Regulatory and compliance systems are moving beyond individual solutions to become increasingly interconnected. As operators expand in regulated markets, compliance is becoming embedded into the underlying product itself. As this trend evolves, it will shape how digital platforms are designed, developed and scaled.”

The report was also brought to the SBC stage during the panel “2027 SOFTSWISS iGaming Trends Report | Five Years of iGaming: Which Trends Endured, Which Faded, and What Comes Next?” The discussion brought together perspectives from technology, operators, suppliers and media, including Amazon Web Services, SOFTSWISS and BGaming.

Prediction markets move into the spotlight

Prediction markets received significant attention throughout the summit. The 2026 event introduced its first dedicated Global Prediction Markets Forum. SOFTSWISS not only showcased the Prediction Markets Platform at a dedicated stand but also contributed to two key summit sessions during the event. Anton Lishchuk, Prediction Markets Commercial Strategist at SOFTSWISS, joined the panel “Prediction Markets: The Future’s Not Near, It’s Here” and delivered the keynote “Operators May Lose Prediction Markets Before They Enter Them”.
