Rhode Island sports betting revenue falls to $1.1m in August
Revenue decreased 66.7 per cent from $3.3m in July to its lowest monthly total in 12 months.
US.- Rhode Island sports betting revenue reached $1.1m in August, down 66.7 per cent from $3.3m in July. It’s the lowest monthly total in 12 months, despite a month-on-month increase in player spending. Revenue was down 21.4 per cent from August 2020.
Mobile revenue reached $723,453, while retail revenue was $406,406. Revenue at the Tiverton Casino was $262,499 and at the Twin River site $143,907.
Players wagered $24m on sports, up 8.6 per cent from $22.1m in July. Wagers bet $11.8m via mobile, $8.8m at Twin River and $3.4m at Tiverton Casino.
