PlayAGS gains licences in Colorado and Missouri

The firm will offer its electronic gaming machines and table products to casino operators.

US.- PlayAGS has received licence approval to offer its electronic gaming machines and table products to casino operators in the US states of Colorado and Missouri.

Mark DeDeaux, AGS senior vice president and general manager, slots, said: “Getting licensed in these two important jurisdictions is a meaningful piece of AGS’ overall growth strategy, in combination with the investments we have made in hiring top talent within R&D and expanding our game studios worldwide. We are pleased to be able to offer our high-performing, chart-topping new products to customers in both the Colorado and Missouri markets.”

Earlier this year, PlayAGS announced an online game content partnership with DraftKings. Through the deal, AGS provides DraftKings Casino with over 20 of its proprietary slot titles for its North American online casino operations.

Missouri casinos report $168.5m in revenue for July

Missouri’s 13 casinos generated $168.5m in adjusted gross revenue in July, according to the latest report from the Missouri Gaming Commission. That’s a 1 per cent drop from the $169.3m they collected in July 2022. The figure was $155m in June of this year.

Ameristar St. Charles was the top performer, generating $25m in revenue. Hollywood Casino reported $22.3m, Rivers City Casino $22.2. Ameristar Kansas City $18m and Harrahs Kansas City $15.3m. The state collected $35.4m in taxes on gaming, up from $32m in June.
