PGCB adds more people to involuntary exclusion lists
The action raises the number of people who are prohibited from gaming in Pennsylvania to 1,491.
US.- The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) has put 22 more people on its involuntary exclusion lists. The move raises the number of people who are prohibited from gaming in the state to 1,491.
Placement on an involuntary exclusion list prohibits individuals from either gaming in a casino in the state, via an online betting site, or at a Video Gaming Terminal (VGT) location. Some 17 people were added to the Involuntary Casino Exclusion list, five for leaving minors unattended at a casino while they gambled. The other five people were added to the Involuntary Interactive Exclusion List for committing fraud on igaming or sports betting sites.
The PGCB will hold its next meeting on February 25 in the board’s Public Hearing Room at the Strawberry Square Complex in Harrisburg. The regulator recently reported that combined gaming revenue reached a new record high in 2025. Revenue was $6.8bn, up by 10.7 per cent from 2024 in what was the fifth consecutive year of growth.
The growth was primarily driven by the igaming sector, which saw revenue climb to $2.7bn, up 28.6 per cent year-on-year. Other sources of revenue are slot machines, table games, sports wagering, video gaming terminals (VGTs), and fantasy contests.
