Pennsylvania regulator to hold public hearing on Live! Casino Pittsburgh licence renewal
The meeting will be held on June 11 in the Township of Hempfield.
US.- The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) will hold a public hearing on June 11 on the renewal of the Category 4 Slot Machine Operator Licence for Stadium Casino Westmoreland, operator of Live! Casino Pittsburgh in Westmoreland County. The meeting will be held in the Township of Hempfield.
Citizens, public officials and community groups can choose to speak or submit written testimony by June 9. A listing of government officials, community groups and individuals who have register to speak will be posted on the board’s website.
Renewal follows two steps. First, a public hearing is held in the municipality where the casino operates before the director of the board’s office of hearings and appeals. The hearing record and a report from the director is then transmitted to the board. The second step is a separate public hearing in Harrisburg at a later date where representatives of the casino will be able to offer evidence and oral arguments. At that time, the board members can ask additional questions.
In November 2024, Live! Casino Pittsburgh opened a new poker room, a high-limit table games room, and a meeting and event space.
