Pennsylvania regulator renews Hollywood Casino Morgantown’s licence

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board has voted to renew the venue’s licence for five years.

US.- The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) has unanimously voted to renew the Category 4 Satellite casino licence of Hollywood Casino Morgantown in Berks County for a five-year period. A public hearing was held in the casino’s host municipality, Caernarvon Township, in April. The regulator also received information from local government officials, community groups and the PA State Police, along with the Gaming Control Board’s Office of Enforcement Counsel, Bureau of Investigations and Enforcement, Office of Compulsive and Problem Gaming, and Bureau of Casino Compliance.

Since opening in December 2021, Hollywood Casino Morgantown has generated $315.8m in gross revenue from retail slot machines and table games, and a total of $144m in tax revenue. It operates 675 slot machines and 29 table games while employing 335 persons.
