Pennsylvania gaming regulator issues fines
Incidents occurred at a VGT establishment and at two casinos.
US.- The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) has approved three consent agreements presented by the board’s Office of Enforcement Counsel (OEC) resulting in $72,000 in fines. They were presented for incidents that occurred at a VGT establishment and at two casinos.
A VGT establishment in Clinton County was fined $50,000: $45,000 assessed against the VGT licence, Vasas d/b/a Lucky Seven Travel Plaza in Lock Haven, along with $2,500 each against the two owners. According to investigations, authorities found that the establishment failed to have board credentialled employees on duty while VGTs were operational and under 21s were able to access the VGT room. On two occasions, minors operated the machines.
The regulator also issued a $12,000 fine against Stadium Casino, operator of Live! Casino and Hotel Philadelphia for allowing the use of a compromised deck of cards. A $10,000 fine was issued against Mountainview Thoroughbred Racing Association, operator of Hollywood Casino York, for allowing an excluded person to access the gaming floor and gamble.
The Board also took actions to place 11 peolpe on its various involuntary exclusion lists, raising the number of people on the lists to 1,448.
