Pennsylvania gaming revenue sets new record in November

Revenue surpassed May’s total of $601.8m.

US.- The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) has reported that the combined total revenue generated from all forms of gaming and fantasy contests was $623m in November. That’s an increase of 10.80 per cent year-over-year and surpasses the previous record of $601.8m in May.

According to the regulator, Valley Forge Casino Resort led the market with $126.7m in revenue, up 23.6 per cent year-over-year, followed by Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course with $107.4m, up 18.9 per cent, and Rivers Casino Philadelphia with $55.9m, up 3.5 per cent.

Retail slot revenue totalled $201.2m, a decrease of .13 per cent year-over-year. The number of slot machines in operation was 24,166 compared to 24,474 in November 2024. Retail table games revenue was $74.7m, down 3.64 per cent. Slots machines generated $101.4m in tax revenue and table games $12.6m.

Online gaming generated revenue of  $242.7m, up 21.05 per cent. Online slots generated $185.4m, online table games $55m and poker $2.3m. Tax revenue was $109.3m.

The PGCB recently took action against video gaming terminal (VGT) establishments, resulting in fines of $89,500 and the revocation of one venue’s operating licence.
