Penn Entertainment names three new board directors

Heather Ace, Jeffrey Fox, and Fabio Schiavolin have been named independent directors.

US.- Penn Entertainment has announced the appointment of three new independent directors, Heather Ace, Jeffrey Fox, and Fabio Schiavolin, to its board of directors, effective immediately.

Ace serves as executive vice president and chief human resources officer of Qualcomm Incorporated. Previously, she was the chief human resources officer at Dexcom. She also worked as executive vice president of global HR at Orexigen Therapeutics, Business Integration Leader for Royal Philips’ HealthTech acquisition of Volcano Corporation, executive vice president of global HR at Volcano Corporation and in various HR executive roles at Life Technologies. She was a partner at Gray Cary Ware & Freidenrich, now DLA Piper.

Fox is CEO and founder of Circumference Group. He served as president and CEO of Endurance International Group Holdings and of Convergys Corporation and held multiple positions at Alltel Corporation. He began his career in investment banking at Merrill Lynch and Stephens.

Schiavolin is the former CEO of Snaitech S.p.A. Previously, he created Cogetech, which merged with Snai in 2015 to form Snaitech. He started his career at Cirsa.

In connection with the appointments, the company has entered into a cooperation agreement with HG Vora Capital Management and certain affiliates.

In January, Penn announced a new corporate structure. Todd George, executive vice president, operations, and Rich Primus, senior vice president, chief information officer (CIO), stepped down, and their positions were eliminated.
