Parimatch signs esports partnership

Parimatch has signed a strategic partnership and became, once again, the official betting partner to the EPIC League for Dota 2.

Parimatch, the multinational betting holding, today announces it will be the official betting partner to the second season of international esports series EPIC League for Dota 2.

The partnership will see the Parimatch brand integrated into the Russian broadcasts of games held by RuHub studio.

Matches of Epic Esports Events’ EPIC League will be held in two divisions in the Europe/CIS region from October 29 to December 13. The prize pool for the first division is $500 000, and $50 000 for the second division. First division participants include Virtus.pro, NAVI, Alliance, Team Liquid, Nigma, Vikin.gg and OG и Secret.

Stepan Shulga, Head of Esports at Parimatch said: “The second season of the EPIC League promises to be the hottest event of the year. Perhaps the legendary Virtus.pro players will rise to the challenge of an updated roster. A new era of NAVI is finally dawning. Even Team Secret suffered a loss in the preliminary stages of the tournament, which is hard to believe. We’re delighted to be collaborating with RuHub again at such an amazing tournament and are already preparing some great surprises for the audience.”

Sergey Barkhudarian, Commercial Director of ESforce Holding said: “Throughout our years of cooperation, Parimatch has shown itself to be one of our most reliable partners. We’re thrilled to work with a company that is so interested in the development of esports — as is evident by our rich history of collaboration. We are confident that the second season of the EPIC League will be a new and exciting chapter in our joint story.”
