Ontario’s Cascades Casino London launches renovations
The $50m expansion includes a sportsbook and new dining options.
Canada.- Gateway Casinos & Entertainment has announced the completion of a CA$50m renovation at Cascades Casino London. The work was done in phases over 27 months.
The venue has expanded from 70,000 to 84,000 square feet and now has a Proline+ sportsbook lounge, Match Eatery & Public House with an outdoor patio and Chow Lucky Noodle Bar. The gaming space has 891 slots and 18 table games.

Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG)’s chief gaming officer, Dave Pridmore, added: “Strong partnerships like ours with Gateway are key to delivering vibrant casino experiences. Enhancements, including Ontario’s first Proline+ sportsbook lounge, will further strengthen Cascades Casino London as an entertainment destination and continue to benefit the community. Since 1999, London has received more than $107m from OLG as a host gaming community.”
Gateway Casinos & Entertainment has Cascades properties in Chatham and North Bay in Ontario and Delta, Langley, Kamloops, and Penticton in British Columbia.
Total Online gaming wagers in Ontario totalled CA$9.5bn in May, a 2 per cent increase from April. Non-adjusted gross gaming revenue (NAGGR) was CA$413.1m, up 2 per cent from the previous month. The online casino gaming segment accounted for 88 per cent of all wagers at CA$8.4bn.
