American Gaming Systems (AGS) claims the jackpot was an operating error but players want the $100,000 prize.

US.- American Gaming Systems (AGS) is set to go to court over its refusal to pay online players what they saw as a $100,000 jackpot on their mobile phone. Lisa Piluso from New Jersey is suing the company along with another 14 players for failure to pay out jackpots.

The company claims the messages were an operating error on the online slot Capital Gains. The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) said its internal investigation found that there was a bug in the game. AGS was subsequently issued a $1,000 fine.

In a release supplied by attorney Paul D’Amato, Piluso said: “I’m an experienced online player and I was shocked when AGS officials told me they weren’t going to pay even when I showed them the screenshot that I made of the $100,000 jackpot. They said I actually won about $300, but they then offered me $1,000, saying they were ‘nice people.”
