Ohio casino revenue decreases in December
Revenue was down 0.7 per cent in year-on-year terms but up 2.79 per cent sequentially.
US.- The Ohio Casino Control Commission has reported that the state’s four casinos generated revenue of $89.4m in December. That’s a decline of 0.7 per cent year-on-year but a rise of 2.79 per cent month-on-month. Of the total, slots accounted for $64.6m, up 1.3 per cent year-on-year and up 3.26 per cent sequentially, and table games $23.8m, down 6 per cent compared to December 2024 but up 1.2 per cent in month-on-month terms.
Hollywood Casino Columbus led the market with $24.8m in revenue, an increase of 3.1 per cent year-on-year. Slots accounted for $18.9m, up 3.8 per cent, and table games $5.8m, flat year-on-year.
Jack Cleveland Casino reported $23.9m, up 2.5 per cent. Slot machines contributed $14.5m, and table games $9.3m, down 0.7 per cent and up 6.9 per cent, respectively. Hard Rock Cincinnati reported revenue of $19.9m, down 8.8 per cent. Slot revenue was $13.8m, down 1.4 per cent, and table games revenue $6.1m, down 21.8 per cent. Hollywood Casino Toledo generated $19.7m, down 0.2 per cent. Slot machine revenue was $17.2m, up 1.8 per cent, and table game revenue $2.4m, down 17.2 per cent.
For full year 2025, Ohio casinos generated $1.03bn in gross gaming revenue, an increase of 2.5 per cent year-on-year. Aggregate slot income reached $757.4m, up 3.5 per cent year-on-year, while table games generated $276.5m, up 0.1 per cent.
