North Carolina sports betting handle increases year-over-year in February
The handle was $596.1m, up 9.6 per cent from the same period in 2024.
US.- The North Carolina State Lottery Commission has released its sports wagering revenue report for February. The state’s eight licensed interactive sports wagering operators reported a handle of $596.1m, up 9.6 per cent year-over-year.
According to the report, winnings totalled $535.2m. Gross wagering revenue was $58m, generating estimated tax proceeds of $10.4m.
For the fiscal year to date (July 2025 to February 2026), wagering revenue totalled $5.1bn and gross wagering revenue $534.5m. Taxes totalled $96.2m. Mobile sports wagering launched in North Carolina on March 11, 2024.
